puttin' the bounce in my step!

i recently did a run workout that included a series of running and then jumping in place. i'd run for a set period of time and then for two minutes jump in place as if i were jumping rope. man oh man ... starting back up into the run again felt more brick-like than any bike-run brick i've ever done!

for the 3rd and final set of jumping, i passed the two minutes by a) giggling to myself about the people staring at me and b) remembering how all the neighborhood girls in brooklyn used to jump double dutch. i wanted to jump like them SO badly. i never really cultivated the talent, and still wish i had.

Double Dutch rocks!! I could do it, but not for a long time. Loved that in elementary school!
